Braces and Invisalign can be as short as 5 months for minor movement (ie Invisalign express 10) or as long as 3 years for major movement. Teeth spacing, bone structure, teeth anatomy and age of the patient all play a significant role in how long or short a case may take to get straight teeth. At Today Dental of Northlake, we understand this uncertainty can be a challenge when trying to determine if braces are right for you. As you can imagine costs vary greatly based on the length of time to get your teeth perfectly aligned. Shorter cases tend to cost less. Typical braces range from $3,500-$6,000 for the average patient. If you’re just needing minor movements, the cost can be as low as $1,600. At Today Dental of Northlake we understand braces and invisalign can be outside the budget. For this reason we’re willing to work within your budget by offering low down payments, spaced out payments (over 18-36 months depending on case) and low monthly payments.
We’ll take a special x-ray called a Cephalogram which captures the important bone structures necessary when planning your case. Our Board Certified Orthodontist will do an assessment then present an individualized treatment plan catered to your goals. We’ll cover costs, length of treatment, options for traditional braces or invisalign and answer any questions you might have. The consultation typically takes 1-1.5 hours.
